| The provincial domain Het Leen is a wooded domain containing over 30 km of walking trails. 13 km of these are paved and suitable for wheelchairs. In the forest info centre, which is located entirely on the ground floor, you can visit the permanent exhibition ‘Bos-Boom- Hout’, a multimedia presentation or browse a book from the library. Also ask there for the leaflet for the walk ‘Het Lichtend bos’ which is entirely on concrete paths. The Leen also houses an arboretum with a collection of over 8,000 plants. Here too, there is a paved (dolomite) path which winds between the plants. The reception pavilion of the arboretum is wheelchair-friendly. | |
| Het provinciaal domein Het Leen is een bosrijk domein waardoor ruim 30 km wandelwegen leiden. 13 km hiervan is verhard en geschikt voor rolstoelen. In het bosinfocentrum, dat volledig op de benedenverdieping ligt, kan je terecht voor de permanente tentoonstelling 'Bos-Boom-Hout', een multimediapresentatie of om een boek uit de bibliotheek te raadplegen. Vraag er ook naar de folder van de volledig langs betonpaden uitgestippelde wandeling 'Het Lichtend bos'-pad. Het Leen herbergt ook een arboretum met een collectie van meer dan 8 000 planten. Ook daar slingert een verhard (dolomiet)pad doorheen. Het onthaalpaviljoen van het arboretum is gemakkelijk te bezoeken met een rolstoel. |
