At SEA LIFE Blankenberge, you can embark on a fascinating journey of discovery through our beautiful underwater world. More than 50 aquariums showcase the amazing underwater life from the Amazon River to the North Sea, and many other rivers, seas and oceans. From the graceful cow nose rays in the Ocean Tunnel to playful penguins, notorious piranhas, seahorses and many other species of fish. You'll find it all at SEA LIFE!The most famous part of SEA LIFE Blankenberge is undoubtedly Belgium's first and only seal sanctuary, where stranded seal pups are taken in and cared for until they can be released back into the sea. Over the past 25 years, the team has rescued and cared for more than 700 seals thanks to the support of SEA LIFE's supporters and visitors. In SEA LIFE Blankenberge maak je een boeiende ontdekkingsreis door onze prachtige onderwaterwereld. Meer dan 50 aquaria tonen het wonderlijke onderwaterleven van de Amazonerivier tot aan de Noordzee, en vele andere rivieren, zeeën en oceanen. Van de sierlijke koeneusroggen in de Ocean Tunnel tot speelse pinguïns, beruchte piranha’s, zeepaardjes en heel wat andere soorten vissen. Je vindt het allemaal in SEA LIFE!Het bekendste onderdeel van SEA LIFE Blankenberge is zonder twijfel het eerste en enige zeehondenopvangcentrum van België, waar aangespoelde zeehondenpups worden opgevangen en verzorgd tot ze opnieuw kunnen worden vrijgelaten in de zee. In de afgelopen 25 jaar heeft het team zo al meer dan 700 zeehonden opgevangen en verzorgd dankzij de steun van sympathisanten en bezoekers van SEA LIFE. In het 2.800 m2 grote buitengedeelte maak je bovendien kennis met onze residentiële zeehond Lily en speelse Aziatische dwergotters.
