Enkel met je familie of onder begeleiding van een gids of ranger verken je de natuur in al haar glorie. Geniet van de uitgestrekte dennenbossen, paarse heide- velden en grote waterpartijen. Weet je niet welke route te kie- zen? Geen nood. Starten kan aan een van de 9 toegangspoorten voorzien van infoborden, of een toeristisch onthaalpunt. Op een aantal onthaalpunten valt er nog meer te beleven. Zo ontdek je bij de Genkse toegangspoort in de Kattevennen Cosmodrome alles over de kosmos. Kijk door een supertelescoop en zie de zon in een heel nieuw licht. Krijg je maar niet genoeg van al die na- tuurpracht? Blijf gewoon een aantal nachten logeren in een van de B&B’s, hotels, vakantieparken of campings rond het Nationaal Park. Nog nooit kroop je zo ontspannen onder de wol. | |
