| The Jane opende haar deuren in 2014 en biedt sindsdien een bijzondere mix van topgastronomie, toegankelijk voor een breed publiek: jong en oud, foodies of gasten die voor het eerst een gastronomische ervaring beleven. Het restaurant is gehuisvest in de voormalige kapel van het Militair Hospitaal. Zowel de kapel als de volledige site werden na jaren leegstand volledig gerenoveerd. Piet Boon tekende voor de vormgeving van het restaurant en zorgde er samen met talloze artiesten en ambachtslieden voor dat The Jane een pareltje werd. The Jane is het gastronomische restaurant op de begane grond en alle plaatsen hebben zicht op de open keuken. Er is een uitgebalanceerde wijnkaart, waarop zowel de nieuwste biologische ontdekkingen als de klassieke grote wijnhuizen vertegenwoordigd zijn. | The Jane opened its doors in 2014 and since then has offered a special mix of top gastronomy accessible to a wide audience: young and old, foodies or guests who are having a gastronomic experience for the first time. The restaurant is housed in the former chapel of the Military Hospital. Both the chapel and the entire site were completely renovated after years of vacancy. Piet Boon designed the restaurant and together with numerous artists and artisans has made The Jane a gem. The Jane is the gastronomic restaurant on the ground floor and all seats have a view of the open kitchen. There is a well-balanced wine card which includes both the latest organic discoveries as well as the classic great wine houses. On the first floor, you can find Jane’s Upper Room Bar. |
