| The Delvaux family has given the old buildings of the De Kroon brewery a new lease of life. Father Freddy and his son Filip are considered international authorities on the subject of speciality beers and give technological advice to over 20 breweries in the Belgian top 30. Together with the other son, Peter, they established a project which focuses on the art of brewing and the taste experience. The new De Kroon brewery is the place where the Delvaux family can fully demonstrate its passion for speciality beers. | De familie Delvaux heeft de oude gebouwen van brouwerij De Kroon nieuw leven ingeblazen. Vader Freddy en zoon Filip worden internationaal beschouwd als autoriteiten op het vlak van speciaalbieren en geven technologisch advies aan meer dan 20 brouwerijen uit de Belgische top 30. Samen met andere zoon Peter werd er een project uitgebouwd waarin brouwkunst en smaakbeleving centraal staan. In de nieuwe brouwerij De Kroon kan de familie Delvaux haar passie voor speciaalbieren ten volle demonstreren. De bieren worden hier zorgvuldig bewaakt, bedacht, gemaakt, gedronken en gepromoot. De brouwerij is een ongewone combinatie van wetenschap, brouwkunst, toerisme en gastronomie een creatief familiebedrijf in een historisch kader. |
