Miraculous catches during World War II, twelve-year-old boys risking their lives as Iceland sailors, beach fishermen cleverly using the rhythm of ebb and flow… You’ll discover all that and much more in the museum. And of course, we also look at the challenges our fishermen face today and what the future holds.But it all starts with fish. NAVIGO Visserijmuseum is gewijd aan de vissers van bij ons en aan hun lange, fascinerende geschiedenis. Wonderbaarlijke visvangsten in de Tweede Wereldoorlog, jongens van twaalf die hun leven waagden als IJslandvaarder, strandvissers die handig gebruikmaken van het spel van eb en vloed… Dat en nog veel meer ontdek je in het museum. En natuurlijk kijken we ook naar de uitdagingen waar onze vissers vandaag voor staan en wat de toekomst brengt. Maar het begint allemaal met vis. Die heeft het NAVIGO Visserijmuseum in overvloed, net als andere zeedieren. Van potvis Valentijn tot de vele soorten die je in onze aquaria kan leren kennen. @nl |
