Hasselt’s first and only hostel is strategically situated behind the station, just a short walk from the centre. The hostel has 120 beds for young people, school groups, wheelchair users, backpackers or price-conscious tourists. Don’t expect stereotypical musty hostel rooms here, as the “H” in H Hostel stands for Hip. The hostel has comfortable rooms with private bathrooms. Our recommended hangouts are the backpackers bar and the nearby park. | |
| Jong (van geest) en op zoek naar een budgetvriendelijke slaapplek in Limburg? Hou dan zeker halt aan Hostel H! De eerste en enige hostel van Hasselt sloeg zijn kamp strategisch op achter het station, op wandelafstand van het centrum. Het hostel biedt maar liefst 120 jongeren, scholengroepen, rolstoel-, rugzak- of budgettoeristen een plekje onder de lakens aan. Geen stoffige herbergclichés, wel comfi kamers met de H van Hip en een eigen badkamer. Onze favoriete hangplekjes: de backpackersbar en het toekomstige Central Park van Hasselt – een ruige groene stadslong in spe, met zitstenen en speelheuvels. |
