Design Museum Gent is closed. The museum is undergoing a complete renovation and will be getting a new wing (see www.designmuseumgent.be/ding). By 2026, all buildings will be seamlessly connected and there will be extra space for exhibitions, workshops, events, a museum café, proper sanitary facilities and, last but not least, a lift. The museum will reopen during the first weekend of October. @en |

Design Museum Gent is gesloten. Het museum krijgt een nieuwe vleugel en een volledige renovatie (zie www.designmuseumgent.be/ding). Tegen 2026 worden alle gebouwen naadloos op elkaar aangesloten en komt er extra ruimte voor expo’s, workshops, events, een museumcafé, degelijk sanitair en last but not least een lift. De heropening van het museum vindt plaats tijdens het 1ste weekend van oktober. @nl |
