| The beachcomber is a wheeled vehicle that can be used to push a less mobile person through the soft sand up to the flood line. The beachcomber can be borrowed for FREE during the opening period of the rescue service, upon presentation of an identity card at the Albert beach first aid post at Zwaluwenlaan and the first aid post near Lichttorenplein. You can find out the opening period on the website. During July/August, there is also a beachcomber available for FREE via the sports beach in Heist. Reserving is recommended and can be done by telephone via G 0474 94 68 47 (Zwaluwenlaan) and G 0474 94 35 26 (Lichttorenplein) | |
| De strandjutter is een rolwagen waarmee een minder mobiel persoon door het zachte zand tot aan de vloedlijn kan worden geduwd. De strandjutter wordt tijdens openingsperiode van de reddingsdienst GRATIS uitgeleend tegen afgifte van identiteitskaart bij de eerste hulppost Albertstrand ter hoogte van de Zwaluwenlaan en eerste hulppost ter hoogte van het Lichttorenplein. De openingsperiode kunt u via de website raadplegen. Tijdens juli/augustus is er ook een strandjutter GRATIS te verkrijgen via het sportstrand in Heist. Reservatie is aan te raden en dit kan telefonisch via G 0474 94 68 47 (Zwaluwenlaan) en G 0474 94 35 26 (Lichttorenplein) |
