De Sint-Maartens Kathedraal, gelegen achter de lakenhalle, is een oude bisschopskerk met graven van bisschop Jansenius en van Graaf Robrecht van Bethune, de ‘Leeuw van Vlaanderen’. Na de Eerste Wereldoorlog werd ze heropgebouwd in gotische stijl.
Situated behind the Cloth Hall, St. Martin’s Cathedral is an old gothic style bishops’ church, rebuilt after the First World War. It has the graves of bishop Jansenius and of count Robrecht van Bethune, the ‘Lion of Flanders’. After World War I, this church has been rebuilt in gothic style.
