| In dit middeleeuwse gebouw kwamen vroeger de arme mensen om hulp vragen. Vandaag de dag huisvest de kapel 'Het Kunstuur', dat topwerken tentoonstelt. Het Kunstuur telt topwerken tentoon uit de periode 1850-1890. Bij elk schilderij wordt een verhaal verteld door een bekende of minder bekende Vlaming. De kunstwerken worden één voor één belicht. Via een koptelefoon hoor je muziek en verhalen. Een bezoek aan de tentoonstelling duurt exact één uur en kan elke 20 minuten voor maximaal 8 personen. | |
| Poor people used to come to this medieval building to ask for assistance. Today, the chapel is home to ‘Het Kunstuur’ that exhibits top works of art. The Kunstuur exhibits top pieces from the period 1880 - 1950. For each painting, a story is told by a well-known or less well-known Flemish person. The artworks are illuminated one by one. You can hear music and stories via a headphone. A visit to the exhibition takes exactly one hour and can start every 20 minutes for groups of a maximum of 8 people. |
