| Mayor Nicolaas Rockox and painter Frans Snijders were neighbours on Keizerstraat in Antwerp in the early 1600s. Today their houses together form the Snijders&Rockoxhuis Museum. You get a wonderful picture of the refined life of the wealthy Antwerp inhabitant in the 17th century with numerous renaissance and baroque works of art to admire. |
