| De Kippe is a cosy place where children are welcome in the quiet town of Merksem. It is a café, tearoom, bistro and an art gallery all rolled into one. De Kippe is accessible with help. It doesn’t have its own car park, but within a radius of 200 m, there are adapted parking spaces. The access road through the terrace is even and without doorsteps. The entrance is large enough, without doorsteps and there is enough circulation space. There is enough circulation space in the room. The tables are adapted to wheelchairs. On the way to the toilets, the circulation space after the lock door is limited. The space at the door is narrow, but usable. In the adapted toilet, only a handrail at the closed side of the toilet is lacking. | |
| De Kippe is een gezellige en kindvriendelijke plek in het rustige Merkem. Het is tegelijk een café, tearoom, bistro en kunstgalerij. De Kippe is toegankelijk met hulp. Er is geen eigen parkeerterrein, maar binnen een straal van 200 m zijn er wel aangepaste parkeerplaatsen. Het toegangspad via het terras verloopt vlak en drempelloos. De toegang is voldoende breed, verloopt drempelloos en er is voldoende circulatieruimte. Ook in de zaal is er voldoende circulatieruimte. De tafels zijn onderrijdbaar. Op de route naar het sanitair is de circulatieruimte na de sasdeur beperkt. De opstelruimte aan de deur is nipt, maar bruikbaar. In het aangepast toilet ontbreekt enkel een steunbeugel aan de gesloten zijde van het toilet. |
