| Na een jarenlange restauratie ben je hier weer hartelijk welkom om een kunstcollectie van wereldklasse te ontdekken. Het KMSKA is meer dan ooit een paradijs voor kunstliefhebbers … én voor families. Ideaal dus voor een gezellige uitstap met de kinderen. Want er valt heel wat te beleven. Zoals ‘De 10’, 10 unieke sculpturen die samen een avontuurlijke ontdekkingsreis vormen, bedacht door kunstenaar en operaregisseur Christophe Coppens. Of klimmen of kruipen in een installatie … Het kan en mag allemaal. Bovendien krijgt elk kind tussen 6 en 12 jaar bij het familieparcours een doeboekje met illustraties van Christophe Coppens cadeau. Je helemaal onderdompelen in kunstwerken kan ook in de immersieve ruimte, waar een 17e-eeuws kunstatelier virtueel werd nagebouwd. Tussendoor graag een rustmomentje? Dat kan zowel in de prikkelvrije ruimte als in de museumtuin. Bezoek je het KMSKA tijdens het weekend? Dan kan je zelf ook creatief aan de slag in het Open Atelier. | After many years of restoration, you are welcome to discover a world-class art collection. The KMSKA is more than ever a paradise for art lovers... and for families too. Ideal for a pleasant trip with the children, because there’s so much to experience. Such as ‘The 10’, ten unique sculptures that together form an adventurous journey of discovery, conceived by artist and opera director Christophe Coppens. Or climbing or crawling in an installation... It’s all possible and allowed. In addition, every child between the ages of 6 and 12 will receive an activity booklet with illustrations by Christophe Coppens as a gift for the family itinerary. You can also immerse yourself in artworks in the immersive space, where a 17th century art gallery was recreated virtually. Would you like some rest in between? This is possible both in the stimuli-free space and in the museum garden. Are you visiting the KMSKA during the weekend? Then you can also get creative yourself in the Open Atelier. More inspiration?
