Het onthaal bevindt zich vooraan op het domein langs het aarden toegangspad. Aan de inkomdeur is er een drempel van 17cm. In de ontvangstruimte is de manoeuvreerruimte beperkt tot 125 cm. De bureautafel is niet onderrijdbaar. Vanaf de receptie zijn de toegangspaden naar de verschillende gebouwen op het domein hoofdzakelijk aangelegd in vaste aarde. De inkom van de voorbouw van de Schildpadhoeve bevindt zich aan de zijgevel, het gebouw is eveneens betreedbaar langs de achterzijde aan het verharde binnenplein. The reception area is located at the front of the estate along the dirt access path. There is a 17 cm threshold at the entrance door. In the reception area, the manoeuvring space is limited to 125 cm. The desk is not wheelchair accessible. From the reception area, the access paths to the various buildings on the grounds are mainly laid out in solid earth. The entrance to the front building of the Schildpadhoeve is located on the side wall, and the building can also be accessed from the rear via the paved courtyard. The bedrooms in the rear building are all equipped with bunk beds and height-adjustable, mobile beds. Manoeuvring space in the hallway is limited; only bedroom 1 has sufficient space. De Schildpadhoeve heeft vooraan in het gebouw een grote multifunctionele ruimte met een toog, die dienst kan doen als eetzaal. De toog is niet voorzien van een verlaagd onderrijdbaar deel. De Schildpadhoeve has a large multifunctional space at the front of the building with a bar, which can be used as a dining room. The bar does not have a lowered wheelchair-accessible section. At the rear of the front building, there is another smaller multifunctional space that can be used as a seating area. The kitchen does not have wheelchair-accessible facilities.
