| Ook Nieuwpoort beschikt over een beter toegankelijk zwembad. Via een alternatieve toegang bereiken bezoekers in rolstoel de aangepaste cabine die over een douche, toilet en wastafel beschikt. In de cabine kan je ook de transfer maken naar een van de twee zwembadrolstoelen. Er is een tillift voor het grote bad, het instructiebad en de whirlpool. Let wel, de whirlpool bereik je via drie treden of een steil metalen hellend vlak (20%). Ook het cafetaria en het binnenterras, vanwaar je een goed zicht hebt op het zwembad, zijn toegankelijk. | |
| Nieuwpoort also features a better accessible swimming pool. Through an alternative access visitors who are in a wheelchair can reach the adjusted changing room which includes a shower, toilet and sink. In the changing room you can also make the transfer to one of the two swimming pool wheelchairs. There is a hoist at the large pool, the instruction pool and the whirlpool. Please note, the whirlpool is reached through three steps or a steep sloping metal ramp (20%). The cafeteria and the indoor terrace, from which you have a good view on the swimming pool, are also accessible. | |
