The sanitary block is located in the castle courtyard. The present adapted toilet has sufficient circulation space, 2 support brackets and an underrideable washbasin with automatic tap. An adapted toilet is also available in the reception building. @en |

At the entrance to Gaasbeek Park, right next to the car park or bus stop, you will find the fully accessible entrance building. Here you can buy a ticket and get more information about your visit. The access path is sufficiently wide and barrier-free. @en |

De benedenverdieping en de eerste verdieping van het kasteel zijn rolstoeltoegankelijk. Twee plateauliften zorgen ervoor dat 90% van de tentoonstellingsruimtes bereikbaar zijn voor rolstoelgebruikers of personen die minder goed te been zijn. Een medewerker begeleidt je bij gebruik van de lift(en). In enkele kasteelkamers is er een onderrijdbaar digitaal scherm aanwezig waarop informatie over die kamer wordt gedeeld. De meest smalle doorgang in het kasteel is 80 cm breed. De Schattenzolder, de Kamer van Carletto, de Keizer Karelzaal, de Blauwe kamer en de Egmondkamer zijn helaas niet toegankelijk met een rolstoel.Doorheen het park zijn er verschillende hellingen aanwezig als gevolg van het glooiend landschap rondom het kasteel. @nl |

The ground floor and first floor of the castle are wheelchair accessible. Two platform lifts ensure that 90% of the exhibition spaces are accessible to wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility. A member of staff will assist you when using the lift(s). Some of the castle rooms have a wheelchair-accessible digital screen displaying information about that room. The narrowest passageway in the castle is 80 cm wide. Unfortunately, the Treasure Attic, Carletto's Room, the Emperor Charles Room, the Blue Room and the Egmond Room are not wheelchair accessible.There are several slopes throughout the park due to the undulating landscape surrounding the castle. @en |

Caffè Carletto is located in the castle courtyard. The tables are limited in accessibility (insufficient depth). There is an adjacent terrace with deck chairs and garden benches made of pallet wood. The passage between the pallet wood seats is 1 m. The furniture is movable. @en |

The castle park, with its age-old trees, ponds, avenues, winding paths and historical buildings erected here and there, is a dream spot for relaxation. The estate is also home to the unique museum garden, where old fruits and vegetables are nurtured.Gaasbeek Castle is a protected monument. Net buiten Brussel, middenin de glooiende heuvels van het Pajottenland, troont het Kasteel van Gaasbeek. De middeleeuwse burcht kende een bewogen geschiedenis en evolueerde van strategisch bolwerk naar riant buitenverblijf. Het kasteel werd recent gerestaureerd en de collectiepresentatie werd vernieuwd. Het kasteelpark met zijn eeuwenoude bomen, vijvers, dreven, kronkelende paden en her en der opgetrokken historische gebouwen, vormt een gedroomde plek voor onthaasting. In het domein bevindt zich ook de unieke museumtuin, waar oude fruit- en groentesoorten gekoesterd worden.Het Kasteel van Gaasbeek is een beschermd monument. Wij hechten veel belang aan integrale toegankelijkheid en leveren veel inspanningen om het kasteel zo toegankelijk mogelijk te maken voor iedereen.
