The adapted toilet at the reception area has sufficient circulation space, there are 2 grab bars and a washbasin with roll-under clearance with automatic faucet.The adapted toilet in the museum area is spacious, but at the door there is limited set-up space. Due to the positioning of the washbasin in front of the toilet, space is limited. The limited depth next to the toilet is also inconvenient. @en |

Het NAVIGO Visserijmuseum is bij uitstek een familiemuseum. De Noordzee-aquaria, het vissershuisje of het houten vissersvaartuig de OD 1. Martha zijn publiekstrekkers voor alle leeftijden. Maar wist je ook wat kinderen op de visserijschool allemaal leren?In de kinderkajuit mogen de jonge bezoekers vrij spelen. Ze herontdekken en beleven op een speelse manier de sterke verhalen van het museum. Wat dacht je van vis verkopen op de vismarkt, aan het roer staan van een schip, zelf de vangst ophalen of communiceren met vlaggen? Ga je graag met een gerichte blik op pad? De gangen en doorgangen doorheen het museum zijn voldoende breed. Overal is voldoende circulatieruimte aanwezig. De expositieruimte op +1 en het aquarium op -1 zijn vlot bereikbaar met trap en lift.Het vissershuis is moeilijk toegankelijk. Het buitenpad naar het vissershuis is vlak en voldoende breed, maar de deuren van de woning zijn smal en er is weinig circulatieruimte. @nl |

The exhibition room at +1 and the aquarium at -1 are easily accessible by stairs and lift.The fisherman's house is difficult to access. The Peerdevisscher is the museum inn of the NAVIGO Fisheries Museum. The inn is not wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair user can, however, consume something on the terrace and use the public sanitary facilities next to the inn. @en |

NAVIGO Visserijmuseum is gewijd aan de vissers van bij ons en aan hun lange, fascinerende geschiedenis. Wonderbaarlijke visvangsten in de Tweede Wereldoorlog, jongens van twaalf die hun leven waagden als IJslandvaarder, strandvissers die handig gebruikmaken van het spel van eb en vloed… Dat en nog veel meer ontdek je in het museum.
