The Sint-Janshospitaal is easily accessible for wheelchairs (both manual and electric) and most rooms are accessible, thanks to a sufficiently spacious lift and a second small platform lift (access to one room). Als één van de oudst bewaarde hospitaalgebouwen van Europa staat het magnifieke Sint-Janshospitaal al bijna negen eeuwen te schitteren in het hart de Brugse binnenstad. Gastvrijheid en zorg zijn sinds de oprichting in de twaalfde eeuw vervlochten met het DNA van het hospitaal. Iedereen die verzorging of een slaapplek nodig had, was er welkom - ongeacht afkomst of klasse. In de nieuwe opstelling van het museum zal de bezoeker dan ook centraal staan. Het museum wordt een plek die letterlijk en figuurlijk tot het hart zal spreken.
