| Naar aanleiding van geplande verbouwingen zullen Bijenteeltmuseum Kalmthout en het gebouw van Visit Kalmthout, ‘De Vroente, Duurzaam Educatiepunt’ en Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide (gedeeltelijk) gesloten zijn. Bij het plannen van een daguitstap is het aangeraden om hiervoor contact met hen op te nemen. ‘De Vroente, Duurzaam Educatiepunt’ mikt te heropenen op 1/9/2024. Het gebouw van Visit Kalmthout hoopt eerder te openen. Vanaf dan zullen alle rolstoelen uit te lenen zijn via 'De Vroente, Duurzaam Educatiepunt'. Tijdens de renovatiewerken is de De-Bug (nieuwe wombat) bij Visit Kalmthout uit te lenen (mits een waarborg van 20 euro). Het infokantoor van Visit Kalmthout is tijdelijk ondergebracht in een bureaucontainer aan de toegangspoort voor het Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide. Het Bijenteeltmuseum Kalmthout zal langer gesloten blijven, er is nog geen zicht op wanneer het museum zal heropenen. | |
| Due to planned renovations, the Kalmthout Beekeeping Museum and the Visit Kalmthout building, ‘De Vroente, Sustainable Education Point’ and Cross-border Park Kalmthoutse Heide will be (partially) closed. When planning a day trip, it is advisable to contact them first. ‘De Vroente, Sustainable Education Point’ aims to reopen on 1 September 2024. The Visit Kalmthout building hopes to open earlier. From then on all wheelchairs can be borrowed via ‘De Vroente, Sustainable Education’. During the renovation work, the De-Bug (new wombat) can be borrowed from Visit Kalmthout (subject to a deposit of 20 euros). The Visit Kalmthout info office is temporarily housed in an office container at the entrance gate to Cross-border Park Kalmthout Heide. The Kalmthout Beekeeping Museum will remain closed for a longer period and there is no indication as yet of when the museum will reopen. | |
