| Bezoekers kunnen een luisterverhaal volgen tijdens hun wandeling en komen onderweg verschillende belevingselementen tegen. Je kan het verhaal afspelen via de luisterzuilen of je smartphone. Het luisterverhaal is beschikbaar in het Nederlands, Frans, Engels en Duits. Aan de rendierweide is er een uitzichtpunt vanwaar je in de verte de silhouetten van rendieren kunt zien. Op de plaats van het oude rendierjagerskamp staan met takken gevlochten tentconstructies. De wandeling door het gebied komt ook voorbij 'De Kuil', bekend bij vele fans van het veldrijden. Daar ligt een levensgrote replica van een mammoetgeraamte. | |
| Visitors can follow an audio story during their walk and encounter various experiential elements along the way. You can play the story via the listening devices or your smartphone. The audio story is available in Dutch, French, English and German. At the reindeer pasture, there is a viewpoint from where you can see silhouettes of reindeer in the distance. Tent structures woven with branches stand on the site of the old reindeer hunters' camp. The walk through the area also passes 'De Kuil', known to many cyclo-cross fans. There lies a life-size replica of a mammoth skeleton. | |

But more than 11 000 years ago, it was freezing cold in Zonhoven and its surroundings and you could encounter these animals here too. Our distant ancestors, the reindeer hunters, roamed in the wake of the reindeer herds. You will discover all about it on the 3 km long 'Reindeer Hunter's Trail' in 'De Teut' nature reserve. | |
