The fortifications above the Menin Gate, on which you can read the names, are only accessible via steps. The names on the ground floor/street level can be read without the need to use stairs. The path leading to the alternative route with an incline to the fortifications is not accessible for wheelchair users. However, the central hall, where you can attend the Last Post every day, is accessible.
