| De interactieve tentoonstelling of het doe-centrum bestaat uit een grote hal met twee niveaus en veel manoeuvreerruimte en beschikt over een zeer uitgebreid en gevarieerd aanbod van doe-toestellen en belevingselementen. De meeste toestellen zijn vrij goed rolstoeltoegankelijk. Er zijn ook enkele hoger geplaatste toestellen die je bereikt via een hellend vlak of bij uitzondering enkel via een trapje. Sommige belevingstoestellen hebben (meestal) verticale touchscreens. In het aansluitende kinder-doe-centrum hebben bepaalde installaties een beperkte vrije doorgang. | |
| The interactive exhibition or the ‘do’ centre consists of a large hall with two levels with lots of space to manoeuvre. It has a very extensive and varied selection of ‘do’ devices and experience elements. Most of the devices offer good accessibility to the wheelchair user. There are also a few higher-placed devices that you reach via a ramp or, exceptionally, only via stairs. Some experience devices have (mostly) vertical touch screens. In the adjoining children’s ‘do’ centre, certain installations have limited free passage. | |

The 4 adapted toilets in the building have sufficiently wide doors. The toilets are equipped with 2 folding armrests (except for the toilet for the events which has 1). Because of the position of the wash hand basin and the waste bins in the adapted toilets at the reception, the events and by the auditorium, the transfer and manoeuvring spaces are very limited. The multi-purpose rooms such as the Einstein provide good accessibility. In most workshops and meeting rooms there are tables with roll under clearance. Regular wheelchairs are available as well as an all-terrain wheelchair with wide tyres for the (temporary) outdoor exhibition. |
