Design Museum Gent is closed. The museum is undergoing a complete renovation and will be getting a new wing (see www.designmuseumgent.be/ding). By 2026, all buildings will be seamlessly connected and there will be extra space for exhibitions, workshops, events, a museum café, proper sanitary facilities and, last but not least, a lift. The museum will reopen during the first weekend of October. @en

Tegen 2026 worden alle gebouwen naadloos op elkaar aangesloten en komt er extra ruimte voor expo’s, workshops, events, een museumcafé, degelijk sanitair en last but not least een lift.
