| In het Historium Brugge kan je door middel van een boeiende tijdsreis onderduiken in het bruisende Brugge van de Gouden Eeuw. Film, decors en speciale effecten brengen het verhaal van Jan van Eycks leerjongen tot leven. In de ‘Historium Virtual Reality Ervaring’ maak je een indrukwekkende virtuele vlucht door het 15de eeuwse Brugge. Het Historium heef teen alternatieve toegang met lift: ga in de inkomhal rechtdoor en vlak voor je de binnenkoer bereikt vind je links de lift in een kleine hal. Bij de attractie Historium Story is voor rolstoelgebruikers een alternatief parcours voorzien met begeleiding want op bepaalde plaatsen moet je de lift nemen. De sporadische kasseien op het parcours zijn vrij goed bereikbaar. Het toegankelijke toilet heeft de nodige opstelruimte en beugels. Enkel naast de deurklink aan de binnenkant heb je beperkte ruimte. De teksten bij de attractie zijn vrij klein en niet voor iedereen leesbaar, maar dankzij de audiogids beleef je alles in je eigen taal. Voor slechthorenden is een ringleiding voorzien. | |
| At the Historium in Bruges, you can immerse yourself, via a fascinating time travel, in the bustling Bruges of the Golden Age. Film, decor and special effects bring the story of Jan van Eyck’s apprentice to life. In the Historium Virtual Reality Experience, you take an impressive virtual flight through 15th century Bruges. The Historium has an alternative entrance with lift: go straight ahead in the entrance hall and just before you reach the inner courtyard you will find the lift on the left in a small hall. At the Historium Story attraction, an alternative route is provided for wheelchair users with accompaniment because, at certain places, you need to use the lift. The occasional cobblestones on the route are accessible. The accessible toilet has the necessary manoeuvring space and grab bars. Only next to the door handle on the inside is the space rather limited. The texts at the attraction are quite small and not readable for everyone, but thanks to the audio guide you can experience everything in your own language. An audio induction loop is provided for the hard of hearing. | |
