| Restaurant and tearoom Pacific Eiland is located on an idyllic island along the historic “vestingroute” in Ypres. The restaurant is accessible with assistance. It does not have its own car park, but within a radius of 200 m, there are adapted parking spaces. The access pathway goes via a footbridge. The slope of the bridge is rather steep. Some help may be necessary. The entrance is wide enough and is without doorsteps. The door is heavy. At the entrance to the tearoom, there is a 6 cm doorstep. There is enough circulation space inside, but there is limited space for wheelchair users under the tables (they are only 30 cm deep). On the way to the toilet, the lock door is heavy to open and there is limited space. The door to the adapted toilet, too, is rather heavy. The adapted toilet is small, but can be used by a wheelchair user (turning circle inside the toilet is 140 cm, space next to the toilet is 90 cm, in front of the toilet, 100 cm). | |
| Restaurant en tearoom Pacific Eiland ligt op een idyllisch eiland langs de historische vestingsroute van Ieper. Het restaurant is toegankelijk met hulp. Er is geen eigen parkeerterrein, maar binnen een straal van 200 m zijn er aangepaste parkeerplaatsen. Het toegangspad verloopt via een voetgangersbrug. De helling van de brug is nogal steil. Wat hulp kan hier nodig zijn. De toegang is voldoende breed en verloopt drempelloos. De trekkracht van de deur is zwaar. Er is voldoende circulatieruimte in de zaal, maar de tafels zijn beperkt onderrijdbaar (30 cm diepte). Op de route naar het sanitair is de sasdeur zwaar om te openen en de opstel- en circulatieruimte zijn beperkt. Ook de deur van het aangepast toilet is nogal zwaar om te openen. Alle deuren kunnen echter open geklikt worden, hier is wel hulp bij nodig. Het aangepast toilet is klein, maar kan bruikbaar zijn voor een rolstoelgebruiker (draaicirkel in toilet is 140 cm, opstelruimte naast het toilet is 90 cm, opstelruimte voor het toilet is 100 cm). | |
